The Lady’s birthday is February 29. Each year, The Lady wishes for us to celebrate her birthday weekend with some pleasurable time for ourselves – time for some rest and relaxation, time to give to ourselves and others in some way, and spend time remembering and rejoicing in what we are finding in our relationship with God.
The Lady’s Birthday Invitation
Give to yourself, rejoice in God,
and do something you would not normally do.
Take this time to take care of yourself and be in deep prayer.
Let it be pleasurable, personal, and nurturing.
Meditate on what this time will be for you, different for each one of you.
Buy flowers for your altar, maybe take a long walk or have a massage.
Write a prayer to God. Put a copy on your altar and give a copy away to another person.
Throughout this time look at everything you are grateful for and thank the Lord, even for the adversity and challenges in your life that bring you strength, determination, and courage.
Perform one conscious act of love for another person – friend, family, or stranger – an act of random kindness and care.
When you wake up and before going to sleep at night, pray so intimately and sweetly that God will come to you.
Go to sleep in His peace and love. All in honor of God’s Glory, Joy, Love, Freedom, Beauty, Pleasure!
